A wedding celebration in Madhya Pradesh’s Sheopur district turned into a tragedy when a 26-year-old groom collapsed and died while riding a horse during his wedding procession. The unfortunate incident took place on Friday night, and a video capturing his final moments surfaced on social media the following day.
Groom Identified as NSUI Leader
The groom, identified as Pradeep Jat, was the former district president of the National Student Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the Congress party. His sudden demise has left his family and friends in shock.
Possible Cause of Death: Heart Attack
According to Dr. RB Goyal, the civil surgeon of Sheopur district hospital, Jat was rushed to the medical facility immediately after collapsing, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. The initial assessment suggests that he possibly suffered a heart attack.
Final Moments Captured on Video
The viral video shows Jat, dressed in traditional wedding attire, seated on a horse as he moves toward the stage. Suddenly, he leans forward and becomes unresponsive. A relative attempts to help him dismount, but before they can, he collapses completely.
