The Bhopal Police conducted a massive raid on 18 spa centres across the city, uncovering alleged involvement in illegal activities, including prostitution. The operation, involving 250 police officers, resulted in the detention of 33 men and 35 women, many found in compromising positions.
The surprise raid was launched after the police received repeated complaints about unethical practices at several spa centres. Teams from the Crime Branch, Mahila Thana, and local police stations conducted a joint operation targeting four key locations: Kamla Nagar, MP Nagar, Habibganj, and Bag Sewania.
Authorities also recovered obscene and objectionable items from the premises during the raid. Legal proceedings are underway as the police interrogate the detainees and further investigate the operations of these spa centres.
