The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a cold wave warning across 20 districts in Madhya Pradesh, as temperatures have fallen sharply. Cities like Indore and Bhopal recorded lows of 7 °C and 8 °C, respectively.

Residents are advised to take precautions as frost, dense fog, and poor air quality are expected in the affected areas. The IMD has urged the public to stay updated on weather alerts and avoid prolonged exposure to the cold, particularly for children, the elderly, and vulnerable populations.

Officials also warned that the cold wave could affect transportation and outdoor activities, and schools and offices may need to plan accordingly. Authorities are monitoring the situation to provide timely guidance and ensure public safety.

This early winter cold surge highlights the importance of weather preparedness, especially in regions prone to temperature drops during the season.
