Budget Seen as Roadmap for Economic Growth and Innovation

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav praised the Union Budget 2026-27, calling it a roadmap to strengthen India’s global standing and secure a long-term role in the international arena. Speaking at a press conference on February 4, 2026, Yadav highlighted that the budget offers new opportunities for various sectors and inspires greater aspirations among citizens.


Focus on Development, Welfare, and Innovation

CM Yadav stated, “The 2026-27 budget, presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, is a significant step toward realizing the vision of a developed India. It creates a roadmap to enhance India’s image globally, unlock the potential of our economy, and ensure a strong international presence.

“I welcome this budget, which reflects the spirit of welfare for the poor, youth, farmers, and women. It also emphasizes growth in startups, innovation, and artificial intelligence (AI). The government’s approach to promoting these sectors is commendable. The budget provides opportunities for every section of society and across all states, allowing India to leap forward economically and realize new aspirations,” he added.


Madhya Pradesh’s Industrial and MSME Development

The Chief Minister highlighted the state’s efforts to integrate MSMEs, heavy industries, and small units within its industrial belt. He said, “This development-focused strategy motivates the youth. By connecting MSMEs, large industries, and smaller enterprises strategically, Madhya Pradesh aims to achieve rapid and sustainable growth, fulfill aspirations, and provide equal opportunities for progress to all families and regions.”

Yadav also noted the emphasis on business-friendly policies, saying, “Our development system prioritizes ease of doing business. The budget supports industrial growth, MSMEs, modern infrastructure, and financial assistance policies. These measures will boost industrial investment, production capacity, and job creation in the state.”


Union Budget 2026-27 Presentation

The Union Budget 2026-27 was presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Lok Sabha on February 2, 2026, marking her ninth consecutive Union Budget. CM Yadav’s remarks underline the state government’s commitment to leveraging the budget to drive economic growth, innovation, and inclusive development.
