Insecticides India, a prominent player in the agrochemical industry, plans to boost its business to Rs 200 crore in Madhya Pradesh during the current fiscal year. This goal reflects the company’s strategy to strengthen its position in the state’s large agrochemical market.


Strong Market Presence in Madhya Pradesh

According to Rajesh Aggarwal, Managing Director of Insecticides (India) Ltd (IIL), Madhya Pradesh is a key market for the company. He shared that the overall agrochemical sales in the state reached about Rs 2,000 crore last financial year. Out of this, IIL’s share was approximately Rs 150 crore.


Ambitious Growth Target for Current Fiscal

For the ongoing financial year, IIL aims to increase its business in Madhya Pradesh to Rs 200 crore. This target signals a significant growth plan aligned with the expanding demand for agrochemical products in the region.


Launch of ‘Torry Super’ Herbicide for Maize Crop

Earlier, Mr. Aggarwal introduced a new herbicide called ‘Torry Super’ specifically designed for maize cultivation. He expressed optimism that this product will support local farmers and contribute to higher maize production in Madhya Pradesh, which is one of India’s leading maize-producing states.
